I never played the first one (yes, I know it's included in with SC2) and I may buy it eventually because I like a good RTS. Since I don't know the units and I'm busy with various projects in WoW I'm not going to worry about SC2 - yet.
Besides, it's cutting into my pie and bacon time.

Played last night for a couple of hours. I also played in the beta for many hours. I'm undecided if I like SC1 more or not. I figure there's a review thread over in the video game reviews area, so I'll post there instead of here.

SC2 is the first one where I actually just went through and played the campaign (not quiet finished yet but I think I am getting close). So far I really enjoy the campaign - very unique maps and things you need to do etc. I however don't think I will ever go online in a vrs match so meh (this hearkens back to me not liking pvp - I want a nice simple computer opponent that I can set to CASUAL). I didn't buy one but I can bum a guest slot off of Rob's to play the campaign and that is perfect for me (especially since I don't have to be logged onto his account at the same time).

Having a good time, much more so than with the beta (/grumble pvp pisspoor matching system + 0 opponents of my "skill" rating). Will be on WoW a bit on my day off this week, but due to work this weekend I'll be a bit scarce.

I hate StarCraft, therefore my answer is obvious!

Amen.
Online RTS's have so much potential, but it's always "Ye with the biggest bitch rush tactics wins."
We need a Team UT or something, though.

So far I'm about two-thirds of the way through the campaign and having fun. The between mission areas of the ship has a psuedo-Mass Effect 2 feel to it (minus the load times!). So far the missions all have a certain gimmick/twist to them which keeps you on your toes.

I finished the campaign already and starting on hard difficulty/achievement whoring. Love the game it's enough like the old, new interface is great, and I enjoy the story though blizzard writing is becoming painfully predictable. I just wish they had lava surge in melee maps then I may actually play online verses.
